LEGO Based Therapy

Lego®-based therapy is a social development programme for young people living with Autism Spectrum Condition or other social and communication difficulties. Young people work together in groups of three to build Lego® models in both structured and unstructured forms. Whilst designed for groups, one to one sessions can be beneficial in allowing a child time to prepare for a group situation.

LEGO® based therapy (LBT) is so fun the children don’t even know its happening! With the motivation of a well known and loved toy, children are able to develop social skills such as communication, team work, turn taking, problem solving and description. As well as the social benefits, LBT also enhances fine motor skills and hand eye co-ordination.

If you are interested in either a group or one to one session for your child please contact us.
